Within only months away from the eventual release of Missed Hearts, the sudden and surprise rising hit of Times Like These promptly made me contemplate on a possible remix EP of sorts as a sort of hyping up point for the release of Missed Hearts. But as the days passed and i've worked on the album talking with the remixers included in this album and the artist Mirroredsea, it turned into something really special and i'll venture to say this is one of the most solid releases I've had as an Remix EP yet.

Each artist took their own unique twist from the original story Times Like These laid out into something more grand yet cohesive bringing out together the overall sound and style of this EP. All being about love. Which subsequently a big theme in the Missed Hearts album as well.

I'm really proud of each of the artists involved and equally so to Mirroredsea for this help in the album with his artwork. Really brings it all together c:

The original story for those who don't know is this: Times Like These brings a essence of nostalgia to both good and bad times depending on the listener. However in the story this is rather a sad time in which involves Octavia leaving Vinyl due to her constant neglect of her support in pivotal times in her career as an artist. Vinyl regrets her own ambitions sidetracking her from being with Octavia in her time of need, but is it too late?
